Implementation of the obligations of the 11th sanctions package against Russia

On June 23, 2023, the EU adopted the 11th sanctions package against Russia, which ELPRO-BUCHS AG is also obliged to implement.

The 11^th sanctions package contains, among other things, prohibitions on sales, licensing or transfer of intellectual property rights and trade secrets as well as the provision of technical assistance with respect to sanctioned goods, software or technologies to any person, entity or body in Russia or for use in Russia. The United Kingdom and Switzerland have imposed identical sanctions.

In accordance with the sanctions package, ELPRO-BUCHS AG is obliged to block access for persons, organizations and institutions from Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, and Iran to ELPRO software applications and services. With these measures, ELPRO prevents:

• access to the website https://www.elpro.com/ and thus the download of all ELPRO software and certificates

• access to the website https://www.leading-minds-network.com

• access to the ELPRO webshop https://eu.shop.elpro.com

• access to the client area https://clientarea.elpro.com

• access to the elproCLOUD software https://web.elpro.cloud

• access to the liberoMANAGER software

• the download of ELPRO apps from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store
