Bayer CropScience Innovative Center for Seed & Trait Safety is responsible for ensuring that Bayer’s cotton products are safe and reliable. The center maintained a network of over 50 freezers and refrigerators used to store critical assets, such as products, reagents, DNA and proteins. To ensure the biological stability, they require a constant, strict environment of certain levels of humidity and temperature. Therefore, monitoring equipment and a central database was needed to ensure each lab and each refrigerator maintains its specified humidity and temperature range.
