ELPRO appoints Steve Popescu as Managing Director, Americas and President of ELPRO Services, Inc.

We are pleased to inform you that as of Dec. 1, 2025, Steve Popescu has been named Managing Director for the Americas and President of ELPRO Services, Inc., our U.S. based subsidiary.

Popescu brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in technology sales, life sciences and regulated industries. He is widely recognized as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and medical device companies and has built a career driving commercial growth, developing high-performing teams, and leading complex organizations within highly regulated environments.

Prior to joining ELPRO, Popescu served as chief sales officer at Protek Pharma, where he led global sales strategy and growth initiatives across pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Before that, he spent more than two decades at Sensitech, Inc., serving in leadership roles including director of North America Life Sciences Sales, U.S. sales manager and key accounts manager. During his tenure, he played a central role in reshaping the company’s go-to-market strategy and managing major accounts for world leading pharmaceutical companies.

In his new role, Popescu will lead ELPRO’s service and operations strategy across the Americas, strengthen customer partnerships, and support continued growth of the company’s service portfolio. He will work closely with ELPRO’s global executive management team in Buchs, Switzerland, to align regional strategies with the company’s global growth objectives.

Popescu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Spring Garden College and brings a unique combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership to his role.
