ELPRO becomes part of the Bosch Group

The full acquisition of Elpro Group AG by Bosch was completed on March 31, 2022. Prior to this, the relevant antitrust authorities had approved the corresponding applications. The contracts for the acquisition were signed on December 15, 2021.

In December 2021, ELPRO had announced the planned acquisition by Bosch Service Solutions, a leading provider of technology-based services. After the relevant antitrust authorities had approved the corresponding applications, the full acquisition of Elpro Group AG was completed on March 31, 2022.

"Having reached this milestone, we can now focus on expanding internationally together with Bosch Service Solutions," said Philipp Osl, CEO Elpro Group AG. "In doing so, we will combine the strengths of both companies to offer innovative service models in addition to an extended service portfolio."

Bosch Service Solutions has access to a worldwide network and extensive experience in the development of technology-based service solutions and proven service expertise. Solutions to monitor lifts, heating systems and safety transports are part of the portfolio. To this end, Bosch Service Solutions operates the largest private security control centre network in Europe.

"We are very pleased to be able to officially welcome ELPRO and its highly qualified associates as part of Bosch Service Solutions," says Henning von Boxberg, president of Bosch Service Solutions. "We will learn from each other and share our respective expertise and experiences in order to jointly develop new innovative solutions for our customers," adds von Boxberg.

The ELPRO Group and its subsidiaries will remain unchanged after the takeover and will merely have a new shareholder. Contractual agreements or business relationships remain unaffected.
