Are the new sensors calibrated? Where can I get my calibration certificate?

  • Yes, each 1NTR sensor delivered is calibrated by ELPRO during the production process. The calibration certificate can be downloaded on the certificate server http://compliance.elpro.com/ by entering the sensor ID.
  • Find a sample certificate here:

Does the system remind me of re-calibration?

Yes, the system issues a “calibration reminder” message, to check the calibration of sensors after one year (see picture). If you are looking for a replacement sensor with fresh calibration certificate, you can buy it online at our ELPRO Online Shop or contact your sales respresentative for higher volumes.

  • Please note:
  1. All ELPRO sensors are built to be long-term stable. The sensor will continue to monitor even after the calibration has expired.
  2. The necessity to calibrate a sensor and the calibration interval is subject to a risk-based approach by the user of the sensor. Please refer to your company internal regulations (typically issued by your quality department) or contact ELPRO for advice.

How can the sensors be re-calibrated after one year?

Is re-calibration of the sensors after one year necessary?

  • Technically, the sensors do not need to be re-calibrated since drift is minimal. However regulatory guidelines and the customer’s own quality system typically define a yearly re-calibration of each sensor.
