ELPRO hosts workshop at IQPC Boston event October 5th

ELPRO will be teaching a workshop on «How to Solve Common Shipping Problems Using Temperature Data» October 5th at the IQPC GDP Cold Chain Global Forum in Boston.

The workshop will be attended by logistics and QA professionals to discuss using temperature data to develop risk-based profiles, conduct quality assessments and optimize supply chain performance. Learning how to use a central database for shipment analysis, trending and GDP compliance are the main objectives.

For the logistics professional, we will take an in-depth look into how to collect the right data to get the statistical analyses you’re looking for. We will run live searches investigating reoccurring deviations in certain lanes, with certain couriers, using specific types of packaging. If there’s a problem, you need to know where to start the investigation.

For the Quality professional, how do you create the most simplified steps and processes for your destination site staff to receive shipments and send you the data? We will discuss also how to use stability data to adapt shipping profiles to reduce excursions.

The workshop is practical in nature and will have participants programming data loggers and taking part in an ongoing temperature study. ELPRO workshop facilitators will be Cyril Winkler, Product Manager Cold Chain Monitoring Solutions and Micalyn Harris, VP Sales North America.

The IQPC GDP Global Forum week is a major event for temperature control professionals with 32 countries represented. Additional conference speakers include Australian Federal Agency for Health Safety, Sindusfarma, United States Pharmacopeia, Baxter, Genentech, Astellas, Lilly, Bristol Myers Squibb, among others.
