Teresa Parayil named Key Account Manager at ELPRO26.Feb.2016
ELPRO is pleased to announce that Teresa Parayil has been promoted to Key Account Manager (KAM). As KAM, Parayil is responsible for the global development and management of key accounts and related projects. ELPRO’s rapid global growth can be attributed to its unmatched customer service and relationships, of which KAMs play an integral role.
Parayil’s new position involves understanding the customers’ supply chain to see where ELPRO can be of assistance, and delving into the various locations of the account, in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
«I enjoy working with our clients to understand what challenges they are facing,» Parayil said. «I like discovering an ELPRO solution that will fit their needs. Being able to demonstrate how the benefits of the ELPRO line will make their procedures compliant and everyday lives more efficient is always exciting!»
KAMs are focused on internationally active customers who have a vast and complex global setup and also international projects. There is also a need to understand what trends are influencing the business and which regulatory requirements have an impact on the accounts.
«Teresa’s experience will be an asset to the development of ELPRO globally,» said Micalyn Harris, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. «We continue to grow rapidly, and we hope to maintain and amplify this positive trajectory. Teresa is a strong leader and she is the ideal person for this role.»
To better understand these accounts, Parayil will be developing a deep understanding of their systems and processes by cultivating a close relationship, discussing their requirements and establishing accurate documentation on all information.
«KAMs are coordinators, consultants, information forwarders and business developers.» said Emanuel Schaepper, Team Leader, KAM «They must have an advanced understanding of technical topics and also of regulatory requirements. Teresa has an ample understanding of what it takes to analyse accounts, find solutions and present to the customers, which makes her an ideal fit for this position.»
Parayil earned her Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Business from Rutgers University. Parayil began working for the company in August 2012. She was responsible for LIBERO data loggers and project management with background experience in the cold chain supply industry.
In her free time, Parayil enjoys cross fit, running, white water rafting, hiking, travelling and learning about different cultures and their history. She resides in Livingston, NJ.
